February 17-25 2007: The 2nd Annual Islanders Maui Plein Air Painting Invitational. As a Signature Member of Islanders, Martin was among 25 Hawaii and mainland artists to participate in the event sponsored by the Ritz-Carlton resort in Kapalua, the Lahaina Town Action Committee, Village Galleries and Starbucks Coffee. The event was a huge success as the artists, visitors and collectors all had a wonderful time and a lot of terrific new art was created.

May 2007 Martin was included in the newly published "Best of America – Oil Artists & Artisans" Kennedy publications, Williamsburg, VA. A collection of selected oil painters from all over America. Martin’s painting "Ke’e & Napali" was featured. |
